More Speakers Added To entrepreneurcountry Forum Line-up
A Silicon Valley CEO, an entrepreneur who set up a multi-million pound company from his student halls and a three-time founder whose company was acquired by Vodafone will all be speaking at the entrepreneurcountry Forum on 27th February 2013.
Mark Hoffman is a Silicon Valley serial entrepreneur and co-founder and CEO of Sybase, which he sold for $5.8 billion in 2010. He was also the founder and CEO of CommerceOne and CEO of Everdream, which he sold to Dell in 2007. He has deep experience in building companies from early stage into large organisations and has a wealth of advice to share with delegates on the day who have global ambitions to build and develop sustainable businesses. Mark is now working in London for Oxygen Finance on what he calls 'unfinished business' from CommerceOne.
Jason Tavaria, Founder of Dolphin Music and Zillion, is also scheduled to speak on the day, sharing his entrepreneurial story from managing discos during his teens to creating one of Europe's leading e-commerce music businesses, valued at £16m. Now, after a decade of disrupting the music retail sector with Dolphin Music, Jason has embarked on his next start up, Zillion, a digital enabler which is revolutionising the high street by providing iPad-based vertical e-commerce stores for physical retailers so they have access to the same range, fulfillment and prices as Amazon for their customers in-store. Jason will be sharing his entrepreneurial vision on how technology will enable the businesses of the future.
Another speaker who is revolutionising industries and presenting on the day is Ed Bussey, Founder and CEO of iTrigga. Ed was Chief Operating Officer at award-winning social networking pioneer ZYB, acquired by Vodafone in 2008, and was also on the Founding team of Figleaves.com, acquired by N Brown in 2010. Ed will be sharing his expertise on building high growth explosive digital companies, as well as mentioning some of the lessons he has picked up along the way.
