Swedish Pin Me To secures fresh investment
Swedish serial-entrepreneur Lars Wingefors knows how to spot the next big thing. This bodes well for Pin Me To - a rapidly growing David enterprise offering a B2B solution for obtaining location-based data, which has just become his latest investment. And with an additional €160,000 now in the bank, Pin Me To is preparing to move up a gear.
Wingefors is already involved in an impressive number of companies, spanning both tech and traditional sectors. Fewsome, a custom made watch business from Stockholm, and Ztory, a magazine subscription service, are just two lucky Davids that are benefiting from his extensive expertise. But it is Pin Me To that is now dancing with this acquisitive Goliath.
Pin Me To's USP lies in its innovative software platform, which is designed to help businesses take control of their location data. The potential to have such a disruptive influence on search engines and social media is attracting the attention of retail and service industry brands alike. Wingefors' network of contacts will be invaluable in growing their clear revenue streams and building on their early bootstrapping.
Pin Me To's development has not gone unnoticed. In March, CEO Daniel Melkersson presented the company on stage at the Nordic Startup Conference, 'Battle of the Vikings'. This may well be the first of many appearances on both the local and international stage.
